The FPF unites the vast majority of Protestants in France: 33 church units and affiliated churches and more than 70 associations, representing a mosaic of perspectives and traditions. Lutherans, Reformed, Evangelicals, Adventists, Anglicans … as well as social organisations, radio stations, youth movements and communities: all participate in this common home.
On 29 April 2026, the four Area Deans, the Archdeacon and the Secretary met with members of the commission looking at our request to move from Associate membership to Full membership.
It was the occasion for discussions and greater understanding not just with the Archdeacon, who had already attended the annual synod and several meetings, but with the wider Anglican presence in France.
The meeting ended in warm understanding, and lighter discussions over lunch in the garden of the Maison du Protestisme where the meeting was held, and which is the home base of the Federation.
